Sacred Heart University Community Theatre presents Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn.

Marjorie Waldo, President & CEO of Arts Garage, has announced the nonprofit organization's 2022-2023 theater season—four thought-provoking productions, three of them by South Florida playwrights.

Halloween Palm Springs will return to Arenas Road (Arenas District – Downtown Palm Springs) on Sunday, October 30 from 4:00-10:00p.m. A Hocker Productions event, Halloween Palm Springs is FREE with a suggested donation of $10 being accepted at each of the entrances benefiting DAP Health, Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus, Greater Palm Springs Pride and LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert. 

The CBS DREAM TEAM Saturday morning lineup is a diverse, family-friendly schedule featuring compelling shows and stories of hope and compassion designed to enlighten, teach and inspire viewers to make a greater commitment to themselves, their families and their communities.

The School of Theatre & Dance at the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts at the University of Houston has announced its 2022-23 season. Featuring 10 productions, the season promises to be one of the school's most ambitious in recent memory.

“Didn’t It Rain” is from Blount’s highly-anticipated new album, The New Faith. With the announced closing of Broadway’s longest running show, questions have risen about tourism (the numbers in New York actually look much stronger than a hot take on Phantom might suggest), about the resiliency of brands (also highlighted by what the future might hold for Second City), and what gets audiences excited to come out to the theater.

The second most-commonly spoken language in the U.S. hits Seattle mainstages. Two theatres have joined forces to set a regional precedent: in addition to diverse casting and Latine narratives, Sound Theatre and Book-It Repertory Theatre will offer a combined six Spanish-captioned performances.

New Repertory Theatre (New Rep) is proud to present The GroovaLottos on Saturday, October 1 at 7:00pm and Sunday October 2 at 4:00pm, as part of its Saturday Stories/Sunday Celebration series. Both events will take place in the Main Stage Theater at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown.

New Repertory Theatre (New Rep) will present Reconsidering, a new dance/theater work, on Friday, September 30 at 7:30pm and Saturday October 1 at 3:00pm, in the Black Box Theater at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown.

The Santa Fe Opera will present the world premiere of This Little Light of Mine, a new opera about the life of voting rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer. The one-act opera is composed by Chandler Carter with libretto by Diana Solomon-Glover. Under development since 2017, the piece is commissioned by the Santa Fe Opera and its Opera for All Voices (OFAV) consortium partners.

Seattle Center Festál will continue with Sea Mar Fiestas Patrias at the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall and Fisher Pavilion from 1-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, and 1-6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18. The festival celebrates the liberation from Spain for Mexico, Chile, Panama, Peru, and Guatemala, as well as Latino cultures which expand to the Caribbean. 

Benise and his Emmy award-winning show will return to Miami-Dade County Auditorium (MDCA) on Oct. 8, 2022 at 8 p.m., with a beloved classic production, “Spanish Nights.”

Lyric Opera of Chicago will present the North American premiere of a bold new production of the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof, September 17 to October 7, 2022. Check out photos from the production!

NOoSPHERE Arts will present WE ARE NATURE 2022: Patterns of Connection | Earth Ethics on September 24, 2022 at 5:30pm at the NOoSPHERE Arts Stage Roof, NYC and Kingsland Wildflowers at Broadway Stages, Brooklyn.

Professional dance company Collage Dance Collective and Kentucky Performing Arts are hosting auditions for local student dancers. Selected students will perform with the dance company during its RISE production on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at The Brown Theatre.

Queen's Theatre Hornchurch have released the first production photos of In This Smoking Chaos, the show continues from Wednesday 21 September to Saturday 24 September as part of the Theatre’s Blueprint Festival.

Central Florida Community Arts (CFCArts) has announced the addition of three new members to its board of directors: Lynette Jackson, Jack Feivou, and Esu Ma'at.

Greenway Arts Alliance will present WET: A DACAmented Journey written and performed by Alex Alpharaoh and directed by Daphnie Sicre. The production will kick off Greenway’s25th Anniversary Season at Greenway Court Theatre in Los Angeles. Performances begin on October 22 and run to November 13.
