September 2023 offerings at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts include a superb season-opening performance by PJ Morton, a multi-GRAMMY®-Award winning R&B and soul singer, songwriter, performer, and producer and more.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will present sweeping array of bold and diverse programming for the fall/winter of its 2023/2024 Season.

The star-studded lineup of performers includes the biggest names in country music with Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, and co-host Dolly Parton, who will close out the night of massive performances.

Bazalaam Beats Productions has announced a second extension of the cult-hit musical FOR THE LOVE OF A GLOVE, now playing at the Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan Theater in Los Angeles. Having been previously shuttered by the coronavirus pandemic in March of 2020, the musical reopened in February of 2023 for a limited engagement of twelve performances.

“Country Music’s Party of the Year” will feature performances by Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jo Dee Messina, Ashley McBryde, Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson, and Bailey Zimmerman.

The Emmy-nominated, star-powered experience will celebrate country music’s biggest stars and emerging talent, and feature unforgettable performances, exclusive collaborations, and unexpected moments that will captivate fans worldwide. What did our critic think of THE ONE-EYED STRANGER at The Joint Theater? Nestled in the Argenta District is, quite possibly, the best little comedy club ever. Exaggeration? I don't think so. The Joint Comedy Theater, 301 Main St #102, in North Little Rock, is now my newest favorite place to go. Yes, I've only gone once (and shame on all my friends who didn't tell me about this gem), and I will return. For my inaugural visit Saturday, March 18, I saw the hilarious ONE-EYED STRANGER with The Main Thing Comedy Trio, starring Steve Farrell, Vicki Farrell, and Brett Ihler. I did not stop laughing from the time they hit the stage until time to take their bows, and I am 'serious as a little baby owl!' Don't miss this show!

Bailey Zimmerman fans’ prayers have been answered. Rolling Stone exclusively shared the news this morning that the rising breakout star is set to release his full-length debut, Religiously. The Album. Zimmerman is featured as a co-writer on 11 of the 16 tracks, including the soaring title-track, “Religiously,” out now. Plus, tour dates!

Fresh off the heels of his latest single “Shut Me Up”, 23-year-old indie-pop artist Nicky Youre has released his new song “Found” from the Netflix animated film THE MAGICIAN’S ELEPHANT. Written by 14-time Academy Award-nominated songwriter Diane Warren, “Found” arrives alongside an animated lyric video that offers a sneak peek of the film.

Co-written with Karen Poole (Kylie Minogue, David Guetta, Galantis) and Lewis Thompson (Anne-Marie, Little Mix, Steve Aoki), the track opens on a gut-punch of a lyric that perfectly showcases the strength and full-force personality of Muller’s songwriting.
