Ice Theatre of New York will participate in the Inaugural Dick Button Festival of Artistic Skating on October 1 & 2, 2022 in Lake Placid, NY. An epicenter of figure skating for nearly a century, Lake Placid is where its artistry and athleticism thrive.

On Tuesday, March 10, Stowe transforms into a figure skating destination when Ice Dance International (IDI) arrives for a week-long residency hosted by Spruce Peak Arts that includes community engagement programs for area students, adults, developing skaters, and enthusiasts. The week culminates in a March 14 world premiere performance of a piece to be choreographed during the residency.

Olympic gold medalists Mikaela Shiffrin, Yuzuru Hanyu and Alina Zagitova are slated to compete this week across NBC Sports, headlined by live, commercial-free coverage of Grand Prix Russia from Moscow on NBC Sports Gold's “Figure Skating Pass,” beginning Friday at 6 a.m. ET.

The world premiere of Go Figure! The Randy Gardner Story receives a not quite taut mounting in its initial outing at the NoHo Arts Center. Director Josh Ravetch, who co-wrote this with Gardner, allows his star to proceed with his biographical tales, some quite riveting, some very candid, at his own desired pace.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association today announced the lineup for the 41st edition of Dance on Camera. Taking place February 1-5, the dance-centric film festival returns to the Film Society for the 17th consecutive year with an exciting and diverse array of dance films, including several premieres.

Dick Button, the man known as the 'Voice' of figure skating, Johnny Weir, an Olympian who, at age 26, is the skating world's most unpredictable star, and Laurieann Gibson, the creative visionary behind Lady GaGa's choreography, will serve as the judges for ABC's highly anticipated new series, 'Skating with the Stars,' from BBC Worldwide Productions. Weir, Button and Gibson will make their debut as judges on the series' premiere, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (9:11-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner are helping make Times Square a little pinker - and all of New York City, in fact - as they present actor Leslie Jordan in his acclaimed solo show, My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, at the Midtown Theater (163 West 46th Street) this Spring. Performances began on Wednesday, April 14, and the official opening night was Monday evening, April 19. David Galligan directs the 12-week limited engagement.
