Last night, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts honored iconic composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim at its annual American Songbook gala. Celebrated director and frequent Sondheim collaborator Lonny Price directed the evening's centerpiece, Beautiful Girls, A Musical Tribute, which featured show-stopping Sondheim compositions that explore a variety of women's stories through music.

THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR SHOW Comes to London This Summer

One of the most iconic characters in children's literature will wiggle his way to London this Summer in celebration of a major birthday. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show will play a limited 4-week run at Troubadour White City Theatre from Wednesday 7 August to Sunday 1 September, to mark the 50th Anniversary of Eric Carle's beloved book.

Today, D23, the official Disney fan club, has announced the eleven recipients for the 2019 Disney Legends Award. This year's recipients are Bette Midler, Wing Chao, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, James Earl Jones, Kenny Ortega, Barnette Ricci, Robin Roberts, Diane Sawyer, Ming-Na Wen, and Hans Zimmer.

NBC has tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in primetime results for the week of April 29-May 5 in the key demographic of adults 18-49, according to “live plus same day” viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research. NBC also tied for the weeklong win in adults 18-34 and adults 25-54 and led the week outright in all key adult-female demos.
