In celebration of 85 Years of Theatre By The Sea (TBTS), owner and producer Bill Hanney is proud to present the Rhode Island Regional Premiere of the international sensation, Mamma Mia! which will be presented from June 20 - July 21, 2018.

The hilarious and joy-filled musical comedy smash Sister Act is just weeks away from its big Jupiter debut!

Casting is announced today for Music Theatre Wichita's 47th Season, which includes including Sister Act, Guys and Dolls, Disney's Freaky Friday, Pippin, and Disney's The Little Mermaid.

SISTER ACT is coming to New Stage Theatre, running May 29 to June 10. It features music by Alan Menken and is adapted from the classic movie of the same name. 

Sister Act comes to MT Wichita Next Month! Sister Act opens the season, directed by Mark Madama and choreographed by Robert Hartwell. Mr. Madama is Associate Professor of Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan, with a host of directing credits, both in the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Hartwell's numerous Broadway performing credits include Motown, Nice Work If You Can Get It (Astaire Award nomination) and Bette Midler's original company of Hello, Dolly!, and he is the founder and director of 'The Broadway Collective.' Scenic designer Adam Koch will join the team to consult on the sets he designed for the Ogunquit Playhouse.

A woman hiding in a convent helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she rediscovers her own. This feel-good comedy smash is based on the hit film. Filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing and a truly moving story, Sister Act will leave you breathless. This uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical!

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. The casts include a number of Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Broadway At Music Circus debuts-and audience favorites from previous Broadway At Music Circus productions.

Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce the twenty-four students nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress, and nominees for Best Production presented by Guardian Music Travel, Best Direction and Best Scenic Design presented by SPL for the seventh annual Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards.
