Theatre Royal, Glasgow is to host The Bodyguard-themed karaoke during the hit musical's four-week run at the venue this Christmas.

Due to popular demand, Alexandra Burke and Duncan James will extend their runs in CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre. Alexandra Burke will play Roxie Hart until 10 November 2018 and Duncan James will play Billy Flynn until 17 November 2018. Laura Tyrer will play Velma Kelly until 20 October followed by Josefina Gabrielle who returns to the role of Velma Kelly from 22 October - 5 January 2019.

Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of Sister Act on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the November Theatre/Arenstein Stage, 114 West Broad Street. It comes as no surprise for anyone to hear that Sister Act with its partly disco, partly R&B inspired score by multi-award winning Alan Menken is far from that of the all-time greatest musicals. But it is always pleasing to notice when a skillful crew such as the competent one of the Operetta Theatre in Budapest treats the material as if it would be the eighth wonder of the musical theatre world.
