A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, now playing at Cygnet Theatre through April 22nd, is a romantic and wistful production that brings a lovely and poignant portrait to the Cygnet stage.

Cygnet is thrilled to revisit one of its favorite musicals, Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, which was a hit with critics and audiences in 2008. The Tony Award winning musical is considered one of Sondheim's most beloved works, and features stunning melodies including the popular 'Send in the Clowns'. Cygnet's production is directed by Sean Murray and runs Mar. 7 - Apr. 22. Opening night for media is Mar. 10.

For two nights only in honor of Halloween, Cygnet Theatre resurrects the ever-popular musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler. What a remarkable age this is! The five-time Tony Award-winning 'TitanicThe Musical' sets sail for the Moonlight Amphitheatre from Aug. 17, 2016 to Sept. 3, 2016 at 8 p.m. The production made port on the Broadway stage in March 1997 and won five Tony Awards that same year, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, Best Scenic Design and Best Orchestrations. Cygnet Theatre is pleased to announce a Concert Staged-Reading of the Tony Award-winning musical EVITA, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. The two-night-only performance, presented on Monday, August 3rd, and Tuesday, August 4th at 7 pm at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town, will feature some of San Diego's brightest musical theatre stars.

Cygnet Theatre will kick off its 13th season in July as director Sean Murray mounts the San Diego Premiere of Dogfight, a romantic and comic musical adaptation of the 1991 movie with River Phoenix and Lili Taylor.
