Closing out the Town Hall Theatre 2018/19 'Lost & Found' Season with a bang is WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, a sizzling musical farce of female resilience, with book by Jeffrey Lane, music and lyrics by David Yazbek, based on the Academy Award nominated film by Pedro Almodovar. Atlantic Theater Company announces a one week extension for the world premiere production of The Secret Life of Bees, book by Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage, music by Tony and Grammy Award winner Duncan Sheik, lyrics by Drama Desk winner Susan Birkenhead, directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold, and based on the best-selling novel by Sue Monk Kidd. The highly anticipated production, which opens on Thursday, June 13th, will now play through Sunday, July 14th, 2019 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS opened at Resident Theater Company in Pennsylvania on March 29 and is running through April 14, 2019.

The 10-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical The Band's Visit played its final performance on Broadway tonight, April 7, 2019. The production played 589 regular and 36 preview performances at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 W 47th Street).

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center today announced the 2019/2020 season of its Broadway Series, featuring Once on This Island; Bandstand; The Band's Visit; The SpongeBob Musical; An American in Paris and The Color Purple. Season subscribers will also have the option to add Once and Blue Man Group to their season subscription.
