Canadian pianist Angela Cheng opens the Chamber Music Society of Detroit's third annual Oakland University season series Sunday, September 20 at 3 PM. The concert takes place at Varner Recital Hall, located on the campus of Oakland University at 2200 N Squirrel Road in Rochester. Ms. Cheng will perform Haydn's Sonata No. 60 in C major, Prokofiev's Sonata No. 2 in D minor, and three works by Chopin, the Polonaise-Fantasie, Op. 61 and Ballade Nos. 1 in G minor and 4 in F minor.
