Calista Flockhart and Zachary Quinto to Star in WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? at the Geffen Playhouse

Geffen Playhouse added three new productions to complete its 25th Anniversary Season lineup, it was announced today. Playwright Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? will make its Geffen Playhouse premiere in April 2022, featuring Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal, Neil LaBute's bash) and Zachary Quinto (Star Trek franchise, The Boys in the Band); A Wicked Soul in Cherry Hill, a new original musical from playwright and Geffen Playhouse The Writers' Room program alum Matt Schatz, will make its world premiere in June 2022; and playwright Fernanda Coppel's King Liz will makes its West Coast premiere in July 2022.

David Kwong's THE ENIGMATIST Returns to the High Line Hotel

Producers Greg Berlanti and Robbie Rogers and Creative Producers Dylan Pager and Andy Jones announced today the return of David Kwong's The Enigmatist to The High Line Hotel (180 10th Ave, New York, NY 10011). After overwhelming demand and six months of sold-out performances earlier in 2019, magician and cruciverbalist David Kwong will bring his immersive evening of puzzles, cryptology and illusions back to New York City for a limited engagement, beginning November 1, 2019 that must end January 2020.

Geffen and Audible Will Co-Produce NIGHTFALL For 2019/2020 Season

Geffen Playhouse and Audible will co-produce Nightfall for the Los Angeles theater's 2019/2020 season, it was announced today. Written by Marisela Treviño Orta (The River Bride, Braided Sorrow, Wolf at the Door) as part of Audible's Emerging Playwrights Fund, Nightfall will make its world premiere in Geffen's Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater in February and marks the completion of the Geffen Playhouse 2019/2020 season lineup.

ABC to Present A Four Episode Marathon of ROSEANNE April 24 Following DECEPTION

For those viewers who haven't watched yet or want to experience 10th season episodes all over again, the revival of “Roseanne” will rebroadcast four back-to-back episodes on TUESDAY, APRIL 24 (8:00–10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. Episodes are also available via streaming and on demand.
