The American Theatre Guild unveiled its highly anticipated 2022–2023 Season Announcement for the Peoria Civic Center. The AMEREN ILLINOIS BROADWAY IN PEORIA SERIES will include the following touring productions: COME FROM AWAY, ANASTASIA, 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, and DEAR EVAN HANSEN. The American Theatre Guild, the largest not-for-profit touring Broadway presenter in the nation, unveils its highly anticipated 2022–2023 Season for the Morris Performing Arts Center and part of their 100-year anniversary celebration and awe-inspiring $30 million renovation project. The BROADWAY IN SOUTH BEND SERIES will include the following touring productions: THE BOOK OF MORMON, COME FROM AWAY, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, and DEAR EVAN HANSEN.

De afgelopen maanden bezocht de vakjury, bestaande uit Jon van Eerd, Hilde Scholten, Arno Gelder, Dianne Zuidema, Joy Kreiken, Maurice Luttikhuis, Michiel de Regt, Henriëtte Tol en Rennie Rijpma alle producties. Na vakkundig beraad hebben zij hun nominaties bekend gemaakt. Disney's Aladdin en Come From Away zijn beiden met 12 nominaties het meest vertegenwoordigd direct gevolgd door Rocky Horror Show met 11 nominaties. Ook dit jaar kan het publiek bepalen welke musical van het afgelopen seizoen, volgens hen, de beste is via de Leukstetickets.nl Publieksprijs voor Beste Musical. Publiek kan sinds begin maart hun stem uitbrengen op leukstetickets.nl. De prijsuitreiking vindt plaats op 28 april 2022 in RTM Stage, de grote theaterzaal van Rotterdam Ahoy en wordt om 20.35 uur live uitgezonden door AVROTROS op NPO1. They call Gander, Canada 'The Rock.' However, they should really call not only Gander but the musical, Come From Away, a gem, as it is one of the rare musicals that not only is entertaining but also a brilliant reminder of the beauty of humanity.

This afternoon, Broadway veteran Joel Hatch has played his final show with the company of the hit musical, Come From Away. A member of the original cast, Joel Hatch has been with the show since it opened on Broadway just over five years ago on March 12th, 2017. He portrayed 'Claude & others' other characters throughout the production. Gene Weygandt will begin performances in the roles on Tuesday, March 22. Gene joins the company directly from the Australia cast of Come From Away.

Shea's Performing Arts Center has announced the M&T Bank 2022-23 Broadway Series and Special Engagements. Shea's Performing Arts Center President Michael G. Murphy and Broadway Partner Producer Albert Nocciolino unveiled the upcoming season today. The season includes thrilling new productions and beloved favorites on Shea's Buffalo stage beginning this September.

The Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away, which just celebrated its 5th year on Broadway, has just announced that original cast member Joel Hatch will depart the production on Sunday, March 20 and Gene Weygandt will begin performances as ‘Claude & others’ on Tuesday, March 22. Gene joins the company from the Australia cast of COME FROM AWAY.
