Lincoln Center Theater has announced the complete cast and creative team for the United States Premiere of the Royal Shakespeare Company and Good Chance production of the 2025 Olivier Award-nominated play KYOTO.

Duke & Roya will play its final performance at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. At the time of closing, the production will have played 14 preview performances and 47 regular performances. Learn how to purchase tickets to its final performances.

Duke & Roya is officially open at the Lucille Lortel Theatre! The new play stars Jay Ellis, Stephanie Nur, Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Noma Dumezweni and Dariush Kashani. The understudies for Duke & Roya are Ariana Afradi, Shirine Babb, René David Ifrah, and Jequrey Slaton. On October 30, 2022, Broadway says goodbye to The Kite Runner, which plays its final performance at the Hayes Theater. The Kite Runner ran for 17 previews and 101 regular performances. 

On the year anniversary of the Taliban takeover of Kabul, The Kite Runner's Azita Ghanizada made a speech at curtain call, recognizing the anniversary, and the human rights violations of the past year. Watch the speech here.

Beginning next Friday, August 19th,  Broadway’s The Kite Runner will require audiences to wear masks at Friday evening performances at the Hayes Theater. This will be effective through the limited engagement ending on October 30.
