Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced the company's 2013-14 season-its 19th-will include world premieres by Halley Feiffer, Charles Fuller, Samuel D. Hunter, Craig Lucas, Lucy Thurber, and Ken Urban.

This summer, as Berkeley Repertory Theatre welcomes the lush love songs of George Gershwin and the bittersweet marriage of true minds between Elizabeth Bishop and Robert Lowell, Berkeley Rep's School of Theatre has announced a new slate of classes that people of all ages will love. Whether nurturing a lifelong commitment to theatre or just looking for a summer fling, students this season can fine-tune their skills in acting, directing, writing, and even flirting, under the guidance of Bay Area arts professionals.

Gus and Max spend a day in the park, like every other day, on a day that, with the arrival of a mysterious man with a cane, is like no other. Lives of the Pigeons is by renowned poet Sherod Santos and is receiving its world premiere production at the side project under the direction of artistic director Adam Webster. Santos' play is a darkly comic take on individual identity, purpose in life and the nature of absolution, if and when it exists.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater announces that Wyatt Fenner (The Whale, Misalliance, Next Fall) will take over the lead role of Eli in Slipping starting Sunday, April 21, 2013. Fenner will replace Seth Numrich (Broadway's War Horse, Golden Boy), who will travel to London to star with Kim Cattrall in the upcoming production of Tennessee Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth at the Old Vic. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's production of the world premiere of Jesse Eisenberg's The Revisionist, starring Eisenberg and Vanessa Redgrave, and directed by Kip Fagan, has been extended for three weeks though Sunday, April 21, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street. Caps Lock Theatre, an NYIT-Award nominated theatre company founded by nytheatre.com 'Person of the Year' Mariah MacCarthy, will present Pussyfest Redux, tonight, February 9th and the 10th at Joria Productions (260 West 36th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue).
