Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) awarded high school students from across the Greater Houston area for excellence in theatre last night at the 16th Annual Tommy Tune Awards!

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) announced today that their upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, which kicks off the theatre company's 50th Anniversary Season in September, will be an artistic collaboration with Houston Ballet. 

 F*It Club, the New York Innovative Award-winning film and theatre company, continues its annual series of short, commissioned world-premiere plays at the IRT Theater as part of their 3B Development Series in Manhattan's West Village with The Spring Fling: Chemistry, seven new short plays by Mario Correa (Tail! Spin!), Jahna Ferron-Smith (Ensemble Studio Theatre's Youngblood), Jon Kern (Modern Terrorism), Dan McCabe (Christina Martinez), Mara Nelson-Greenberg (Do You Feel Anger?), Erica Saleh (Channel Zero, Wisdom of the Crowd) and Amy Staats (Eddie and Dave).

Director, producer, actor and Miami-native, Isis Masoud (Bloodline, The Last Goodbye, Rock of Ages, Matter out of Place), and director Roger Ingraham of Sundance fame(Moonshine, As the Dust Settles, Matter Out Of Place), are thrilled to announce the World Premiere screening of their newest short film AYITA'S DREAM at the Miami Film Festival on Tuesday, March 13that 6:45 PM at MDC'S TOWER THEATER MIAMI in THEATER 1. A Q&A session with cast, directors and crew will take place following the film.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is excited to bring Houston two fun-filled shows this summer at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

Bright Star, the new musical from Grammy, Emmy and Academy Award-winning Steve Martin and Grammy Award-winning Edie Brickell, is coming to Houston from Theatre Under The Stars beginning March 13 through March 25 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Eisemann Center Presents the Theatreworks USA production of PETE THE CAT, on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Hill Performance Hall. PETE THE CAT, a new musical, is based on the series of books by Kimberly and James Dean.

Broadway star and Tony Award winner, Debbie Gravitte, has joined the cast of SLEEPING BEAUTY AND HER WINTER KNIGHT as the evil fairy, 'Carabosse,' completing the cast for the upcoming holiday production at Theatre Under The Stars!
