Julie Gold has joined the all-star line up for the July 11th Jamie deRoy & friends benefit for The Entertainment Community Fund. Julie is graciously stepping in for Harolyn Blackwell, who due to COVID-19 is not able to perform.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this July with a full slate of nightly performances! At Birdland Jazz Club, catch Jay Leonhardt and John Weber Duo, Remy LeBeouf Assembly of Shadows Orchestra and more. Birdland Theater will present Tony DeSare, Maurizio Spista Organ Trio and more.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE  has announced a special Pride Edition of The Boy Band Project’s “Boy Band Brunch” on Sunday, June 26 at 2:00 PM. A portion of ticket sales will benefit The LGBT Network, a non-profit organization that is a home and a voice for LGBT people, their families, and support systems in Long Island and Queens.

If this Jamie deRoy 25th Anniversary Show was competing against some of those great Ed Sullivan variety episodes it would have been no contest.  First of all, Jamie knows how to give an introduction, is an entertainer herself, and the best in entertainment business sign up to be in a Jamie deRoy & friends show . The Actors Fund presented this 40th annual 30th Jamie Birthday show and it was truly a spectacular event with some of the most talented performers on the stage at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at the john Jay College of Criminal Justice.  The only crime last night was that the event wasn't televised live but I'm sure excerpts will be available on Jamie's cable TV show and through the facilities of The Actors Fund.  

Long time Friar Jamie deRoy brought her long running and hugely successful Jamie deRoy & friends variety show to the Milton Berle Room at the legendary Friars Club last night The friends in this addition of Jamie's show were Christina Bianco, Daisy Jopling, Reese Waters, Wade Preston, Penny Fuller and Anita Gillette. Ron Abel was music director and Barry Kleinbort directed.

Jamie deRoy is back at 54 with special guests Larry Gatlin, Tonya Pinkins, Lewis Cleale, Daisy Jopling, and Caroline Rhea. Jamie deRoy & Friends has been thrilling New York City audiences for the past 22 years and serves as the basis for deRoy's award-winning cable television show. At this year's ARTrageous Gala, more than 500 supporters gathered at Cipriani Wall Street to raise funds and awareness for the over 16,000 foster children in New York City. The money raised from the ARTrageous event benefits Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families (EGSCF). For more than 85 years, this non-profit organization has been serving and protecting children residing in foster care in New York City. Over the past decade ARTrageous has been a huge success, raising more than $15 million. Today, EGSCF is one of the top Foster Care Agencies in New York City.

On March 18, cabaret performer Jamie deRoy hosted an evening of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & Friends at the intimate cabaret hot-spot Metropolitan Room. Joining Jamie on this spring evening were classical violinist Daisy Jopling, comedy's lovable Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli, ten-time MAC Award winner and three-time Bistro Award winner Karen Mason (Wonderland, Mamma Mia!); Tony Award nominee Valarie Pettiford (Fosse, Sophisticated Ladies), writer/comedian/political satirist and CBS & Food Channel personality Mo Rocca and award-winning songwriter (The River, Garth Brooks; Nobody Wants To Be Lonely, Ricky Martin & Christina Aguilera) and recording artist, Victoria Shaw.
