Broadway stars Liz McCartney and Bob Stillman will headline Judson Theatre Company's  Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins by Stephen Temperley. Souvenir is the first production of  Judson Theatre Company's eighth season, opening Thursday, May 9, 2019 and running through Sunday, May 12 at the Hannah Center Theatre.

Rep Stage, the professional regional theatre in residence at Howard Community College, will launch its 2019-2020 season with "Souvenir" by Stephen Temperley, followed by a world premiere by local playwright Bob Bartlett and a regional premiere by Philadelphia playwright James Ijames, and then conclude with the timeless musical "Dames at Sea."

The ArtisTree Music Theatre Festival offers a season of live, professional musical theatre productions that run from August to October each year. Souvenir, A Fantasia Based on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins, is about a wealthy eccentric, self-promoted performer who was incapable of producing two notes in tune consecutively. This comic turn on a real life eccentric makes its triumphant return to Theatre Memphis in the Next Stage, February 9-25, 2018.  Hilarious and poignant, her story of celebrity and terrible singing is told through her respected accompanist, Cosme McMoon, whose contempt gives way to reluctant admiration and affection. Returning to the two roles are Jude Knight and David Shipley, both of whom performed in the original Theatre Memphis production.
