The Fifth Annual Clive Barnes Awards will take place this Monday, January 26 at 3pm at the Walter Reade Theatre at Lincoln Center.

THE LAST SHIP will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24 at 8 p.m., but fans still have another chance to catch the cast in action. On March 2 (9:30PM) they will reunite at 54 Below for 'Songs in the Quay of Life: THE LAST SHIP Company in Concert.' The original cast and band will celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders.

THE LAST SHIP will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24 at 8 p.m., it has been announced by the musical's producers. The Last Ship began previews on Broadway on September 29 prior to its official opening on October 26, 2014. When the show concludes its 4-month engagement, it will have played 29 preview performances on Broadway and 105 regular performances at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W. 52 St.) The Last Ship's music will live on with the Original Broadway Cast Recording, which was recently released on Universal Music Classics and debuted at #1 on Billboard's Cast Albums Chart last week.

A once-in-a-lifetime Broadway event took place yesterday, December 21, following the matinee performance of The Last Ship when patrons were invited to meet Sting and members of the cast on stage at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W. 52 St.) as they signed copies of the recently released Original Broadway Cast Recording. 16-time Grammy Award winning musician Sting, who now stars in The Last Ship (for which he also composed the score), was joined by cast mates Michael Esper, Rachel Tucker,Jimmy Nail,Fred Applegate, Aaron Lazar, Sally Ann Triplett and Collin Kelly-Sordelet. THE LAST SHIP - the new musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting and book by Tony Award-winner John Logan and Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Yorkey opened on Broadway on October 26 with overwhelming praise for its emotionally powerful score. Today, December 16, Universal Music Classics releases the Original Broadway Cast Album for The Last Ship, produced by the Emmy-Award winning and multi-Grammy-nominated producer Rob Mathes. The play is directed by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello and choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Steven Hoggett, with musical direction, orchestrations and arrangements also by Rob Mathes.

Sting, currently making his Broadway debut in his musical THE LAST SHIP, stopped by last night's Late Show with David Letterman to perform the ballad 'What Say You, Meg?' from the production.

This year's nominees for dance are Harrison Ball of New York City Ballet, Christopher Bloom of Ballet Hispanico, Russell Janzen of New York City Ballet, and Bevon Teuscher of American Ballet Theatre.

On the heels of the 16-time Grammy Award winner's sold-out, standing-room-only debut performance on Tuesday night, December 9, Sting's engagement in THE LAST SHIP on Broadway has been extended through January 24, 2015, the musical's producers Jeffrey Seller and Kathryn Schenker announced. Originally scheduled to perform with the cast for five weeks, Sting will now appear for an additional two weeks in the role of Jackie White in THE LAST SHIP at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W. 52 St.).

Peter LeDonne and Jamie deRoy were again broadcasting from Patsy's Restaurant and this weeks guests included Collin Kelly- Sordelet the 19 year old Montclair, NJ resident who plays Tom & Young Gideon in Sting's new Broadway musical THE LAST SHIP. Also on the program was Manny Kladitis, the founder and president of Niko Companies LTD, a group of theatrical and management Companies. After Jamie deRoy gave her run down of upcoming night life in NYC there was some serious "pillow talk" with the famous Mike Lindell the inventor of "My Pillow". Peter & Jamie were wide awake for his interview having noted they slept on a "My Pillow" the night before and were very well rested.

The music legend is reportedly not only waiving his weekly royalties from the musical, but he is even considering joining the cast in January.
