Tonight, May 19, 16-time Grammy Award winning musician and composer Sting will bring The Last Ship back to New York City for one-night-only when he performs songs from his Tony Award-nominated score in a uniquely intimate venue, The Heath at The McKittrick Hotel (542 West 27th Street), home of Sleep No More. Proceeds from this concert event will benefit The Actors Fund.

The 71st Annual Theatre World Awards -- the first award created in 1945 to recognize a debut theatre performance on or off-Broadway -- will be honoring the legacy of Betty Comden and ON THE TOWN with a special recognition for "Outstanding Contribution to the Theatre World." The 71st Annual Theatre World Awards will take place on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W. 42nd St, New York, NY 10036).

THE LAST SHIP played its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24, but fans still have another chance to catch the cast in action. Tonight, March 2 (9:30PM), they will reunite at 54 Below for 'Songs in the Quay of Life: THE LAST SHIP Company in Concert.' The original cast and band will celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders.

THE LAST SHIP just played its final performance on Broadway on January 24 at theNeil Simon Theatre (where it has played 29 preview performances and 105 regular performances). On December 9, 2014, Sting, who composed The Last Ship's score, joined the cast in the role of Jackie White, the foreman of the shipyard who rallies his community to build one last ship meant to sail the world. THE LAST SHIP will play its final performance on Broadway tonight, January 24 at 8 p.m., at the Neil Simon Theatre (where it has played 29 preview performances and 105 regular performances). Prior to its Broadway debut, The Last Ship had a five-week tryout in Chicago last summer, where it played 38 performances. On December 9, 2014, Sting, who composed The Last Ship's score, joined the cast in the role of Jackie White, the foreman of the shipyard who rallies his community to build one last ship meant to sail the world.
