Colleen Ballinger and Todrick Hall have officially opened up in Waitress! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the two YouTube sensations are heading to the diner for a limited engagement in the hit Broadway musical Waitress as Dawn and Ogie, respectively. To celebrate the duo heading to the diner, we're getting to know the two stars and their musical theatre backgrounds. Check it all out

Waitress's Jenna and Dr. Pomatter, Shoshana Bean and Erich Bergen, took their final bows at the diner this past weekend, and we have a peek inside the curtain call, including an emotional speech by the show's director, Diane Paulus. Be sure to check out the full video!

Want to know what's inside? A first look of Colleen Ballinger and Todrick Hall, set to join the cast of Waitress on August 22, has been released! Ballinger and Hall will be playing Dawn and Ogie, respectively. 

On Tuesday, BroadwayWorld learned that WAITRESS will end its Broadway run at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020. Featuring a book by Jessie Nelson and a score by Sara Bareilles WAITRESS began performances on Broadway on March 25, 2016, and was nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Musical. 

YouTube Original series ESCAPE THE NIGHT is back for season 4 today on YouTube Premium with the first episode free to fans. Created and hosted by Joey Graceffa, season 4 features Joey venturing into purgatory to rescue his friends, who have fallen in past eras, from the clutches of the Collector. However, Joey's rescue mission soon becomes a survival mission as the Collector's Museum of the Dead comes to life.

YouTube Originals will host panels for two of its biggest series at VidCon on Thursday, July 11 and Saturday, July 13. The panels will feature YouTube Originals longest running series, ESCAPE THE NIGHT, and Creator led, LIZA ON DEMAND, in anticipation for season two premiering.

The second and final wave of TEEN CHOICE 2019 nominees have been announced and “Stranger Things” leads with six nominations. “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” “Murder Mystery” and “The Last Summer” are the front-runners in film with three nominations each. Music artist Shawn Mendes tops the music category with three nominations.

Today, YouTube debuted the highly anticipated trailer for SEASON 4 of the longest running YouTube Original series, ESCAPE THE NIGHT on YouTube Premium.
