Legally Blonde star Orfeh blew the house away at Café Carlyle last night. Her two-night run continues 4/23. Orfeh’s powerhouse vocals, high-energy performances and endearing rapport with her band and fans made the show a night to remember.
In a city with no shortage of stars, Orfeh shines among the brightest. Catch her at Café Carlyle on 3/23. Equal parts class and sass, Orfeh sings like a master, exuding calm, cool, and effortless charm. Despite the awe-inspiring vocal pyrotechnics, the petite powerhouse never breaks a sweat. The evening was nothing short of perfect.

Andy and Orfeh have been making music together for 20 years. And from Saturday Night Fever to Legally Blonde to Pretty Woman and several other shows they co-starred in, they have reigned as Broadway’s hippest married couple. It’s pretty unfair for two people to be so attractive, so talented, so charismatic, so successful, and so in love. Yet it’s impossible to resent their many gifts because they are so willing to share them and they make it all look like such great fun.
The hottest couple on Broadway has returned to 54 Below with their smash hit duo show LEGALLY BOUND and the crowds have turned up for the best party in town.
While she also included the necessary ode to Disney and plenty of the requisite Broadway numbers, Ruttle strutted onto stage with the inspired confidence of any 80's power band with Pat Benetar's 'Hit Me with Your Best Shot.'

The evening will feature music from Hairspray, West Side Story The Color Purple and more.
Perhaps you have attended a wedding and, despite repeated refusal, you are forced by your date or young family member to get up on the dance floor. You moan and groan and detest at the cloying silliness that is boogying to some horn-heavy interpretations of Top 100 hits or a once-inescapable Whitney Houston number. However, when you do ultimately decide to embrace this strange human ritual (perhaps the urge comes after your fourth drink or a sugar rush from wedding cake), you realize there is actually quite a bit of admittedly silly fun to be mined from singing along to the staple “Macarena.”
That long-winded analogy could, in some ways, describe the joint performance of husband and wife power couple Andy Karl and Orfeh, in their debut engagement at Feinstein's/54 Below, which began December 8.
