For 25 years, New York City Center's Encores! series has been bringing classic American musicals back to life. This is where Chicago, Wonderful Town, and Finian's Rainbow were reborn-but we're just getting started.

Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, presents The Washington Ballet: Julie Kent and Gemma Bond on Sunday and Monday, February 25 and 26, 2018 at 7:30pm.

Tony Award-nominated singer, actress and writer Melissa Errico, has starred on Broadway in 'Anna Karenina,' 'My Fair Lady,' 'High Society' and many other stellar productions. On March 1, 2018 she will make her New Orleans debut with the special Broadway @ NOCCA concert 'Sondheim & More' at Lupin Hall, as a benefit for the The NOCCA Institute.

An evening of song and swing awaits local music lovers as Philadelphia Theatre Company presents "The Summer Club: A Big Band Valentine's Day." Cupid shoots his arrow down music's memory lane this February 14th as audiences are transported to an era when clubs were hot, everyone dressed up and martinis came straight up. Take the Lead Dance Project will have everyone swinging in the aisles with free dance lessons before the show. Champagne cocktails will be pouring at the bar and Asher's Chocolates will provide a sweet treat to remember the night. This one-night only event takes place at Philadelphia Theatre Company at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S. Broad). Doors open at 6:00pm, with showtime at 7:00pm. Broadway's Zachary James (The Addams Family, South Pacific, Coram Boy) plays Noce Jazz Club in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, February 3 at 10:30pm as part of the club's late night Broadway series. James is joined by pianist, Kyle Naig. The cabaret will feature highlights from James' career on the musical theatre and operatic stage as well as standards from the American musical theatre repertoire.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced complete casting for its upcoming production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY. As previously reported, Lauren Ambrose will be playing as Eliza Doolittle and Harry Hadden-Paton will play Henry Higgins, alongside Norbert Leo Butz as Alfred P. Doolittle and Diana Rigg as Mrs. Higgins. Just announced are: Allan Corduner as Colonel Pickering, Jordan Donica as Freddy Eynsford-Hill, Linda Mugleston as Mrs. Pearce, and Manu Narayan as Zoltan Karpathy.

To celebrate Encores! at 25, Viertel and Encores! Music Director Rob Berman created Hey, Look Me Over!---a collection of opening numbers, grand finales, and other excerpts from beloved shows that have not yet found a berth on the City Center stage. They include: All American, George M!, Greenwillow, Jamaica, Mack & Mabel, Milk and Honey, Sail Away, and Wildcat.

Ballet Hispanico to perform three works by female Latino choreographers at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, 23 - 25 February 2018. Sarasota, FL (January 30, 2018) - The Sarasota Ballet presents Ballet Hispanico, 23 - 25 February 2018 at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, featuring three works: Michelle Manzanales' Con Brazos Abiertos, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's Linea Recta and Tania Perez-Salas' Catorce Dieciseis. This international touring company will arrive in Sarasota following performances in Germany and Norway and will head to Scotland following their Sarasota run.

Theatre production company Parity Productions has released its monthly list of Qualifying Productions for February-their popular directory of New York City shows in which the individual creative teams have 50% of the roles filled with women and transgender artists (directors, designers, and playwrights).

Origin's 1st Irish 2018, the world's only theatre festival dedicated to showcasing the work of contemporary Irish playwrights, handed out its Best of Festival Awards at closing night festivities at Rosie O'Grady's in Times Square last night. The awards were very evenly distributed among the seven productions in competition from Ireland and the US, but the life of the party was Isobel Mahon's comedy "Party Face," which picked up awards for Best Actress (its star Hayley Mills) and for Best Production. Produced by Robert Driemeyer, Morgan Sills and Jan Warner, the Irish hit's US premiere plays at City Center through April 8. Its New York-based cast includes Klea Blackhurst, Gina Costigan, Brenda Meaney and Allison Jean White.

Long Wharf Theatre, under the direction of Managing Director Joshua Borenstein, presents Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Comic Mystery, directed by Brendon Fox.

Ghostlight Records celebrates Hal Prince's historic 90th Birthday today with the announcement that the label will release PRINCE OF BROADWAY Original Broadway Cast Recording in physical, digital and streaming formats on Friday, April 20.

It was announced today that the hilarious new Broadway musical comedy THE PROM will star Tony Award Nominee Brooks Ashmanskas (Something Rotten!), Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), two-time Tony Award Nominee Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical), Caitlin Kinnunen (Bridges of Madison County), Isabelle McCalla (Aladdin), Michael Potts (Jitney), Angie Schworer (The Producers), Courtenay Collins (Broadway Debut) and Josh Lamon (Groundhog Day) and will officially open on Broadway on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at a Shubert theater to be announced.

Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in two world premieres, one to music by J.S. Bach and the second to music by Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, created in collaboration with the Ekmeles vocal ensemble, February 16 & 17 at 8 PM in City Center Studio 5, 130 West 56th Street.
