Redhouse will kick off its season with Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, which runs from September 20-30, 2018 at its theater complex at City Center.

Jacob's Pillow announces the second season of residencies offered through the Pillow Lab, a year-round incubator of new work that encompasses a robust series of customized artist residencies. Built from the Jacob's Pillow mission as an integral component of Vision '22-the organization's five-year strategic plan which drives the Pillow's transition into a year-round institution-the Pillow Lab strengthens the artistic core of Jacob's Pillow by increasing resources that nurture the process of choreography and proactively investing in the development of new work.

Barrington Stage Company's Musical Theatre Lab (MTL), under the leadership of MTL Artistic Producer William Finn and Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, will present a reading of the new musical, Fall Springs, with music and lyrics by Niko Tsakalakos (Pool Boy, Into the Wild) and book and lyrics by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb (Boom), on August 30 and 31 at the St. Germain Stage.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for The Color Purple, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle. Cast members from the 2015 Broadway revival lead the Paper Mill Playhouse company, including Adrianna Hicks (Aladdin, Sister Act - Germany) as Celie, Carla R. Stewart (Ghost - National Tour, Rent - Regional) as Shug Avery and Carrie Compere (Holler If You Hear Me,Shrek the Musical - National Tour) as Sofia.

Pennsylvania Ballet and Artistic Director Angel Corella are proud to open the 2018-2019 season October 11-21 at the Academy of Music with the company premiere of Sir Kenneth MacMillan's Romeo & Juliet, sponsored by PECO.
