Cindy Adams writes in today's New York Post that James Lapine will executive produce a documentary on Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim. The film, due out next year, will include 'material is on Sondheim's life, fresh interviews he's not given before, videos and new versions of his songs.'

According to the NY Post, Ann-Maragret will be heading to the Great White Way in a play by Sandra Hochman. Cindy Adams writes: 'Debuting on B'way in a comic role, it'll star Ann-Margret. Based on Sandra's old children's book, it's a family show. Now all they need is to raise $3 mil.'

Previews for Born Yesterday began March 31, at Broadway's Cort Theatre. Directed by Doug Hughes, this revival of Garson Kanin's award-winning comedy about sex and politics opened last night, Easter Sunday, April 24 and BroadwayWorld.com was there!
