Just The Tonic's 2024 Edinburgh Fringe programme has announced 128 incredible shows so far with tickets on sale now. New dates have been announced for the National Theatre’s production of War Horse, the theatrical event based on Michael Morpurgo’s beloved novel, which embarks on a major 18-month UK and Ireland tour from 5 September 2024, touring through to 2026.

It was tough separating the opera from the event when FIRE SHUT UP IN MY BONES opened the first post-Covid pandemic season at the Met. Back then, in September 2021, FIRE made history as the first opera by a Black composer, Terence Blanchard with his librettist Kasi Lemmons (based on the book by Charles M. Liam Withnail: Chronic Boom begins with a video, in which Withnail is recording a podcast episode with a fellow comedian. Before they can get into a conversation, however, Withnail receives a call from the hospital, telling him that he needs to go in overnight. This meant dropping everything and going, including missing a big gig on a cruise ship.
