Norris and directed by COD Director of Theater Connie Canaday Howard, at the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) Nov. 28-30. This marks the 14th time the Department has presented this beloved tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and the true meaning of the Holiday season."

Nominations for the 5th Annual BroadwayWorld Chicago Awards opened on October 6th, and will close at midnight on Halloween, October 31st. One of the oldest and largest regional awards in the entire international BroadwayWorld system, the BroadwayWorld Chicago Awards are Chicagoland's only comprehensive, fan-voted theater awards, covering plays and musicals, Equity and non-Equity, resident and touring productions.

Haven Theatre Company opens their 2014 - 2015 Season with the Chicago premiere of Catherine Trieschmann's Hot Georgia Sunday, directed by Marti Lyons, at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave., November 22 - December 21. Previews are Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. Opening night is Monday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. The regular schedule is Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Regular tickets are $30, senior tickets are $25, previews tickets are $20 and industry/student tickets are $10. Lifeline Theatre Extends JANE EYRE Through 11/16

To accommodate ticket demand, Lifeline Theatre announces fifteen added performances of its critically-acclaimed production of Jane Eyre, adapted from Charlotte Bronte's novel by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Christina Calvit (four-time Jeff Award winner), and directed by Lifeline Theatre Artistic Director Dorothy Milne (Jeff Award and After Dark Award winner). After a troubled childhood, Jane Eyre searches for new purpose as a governess at Thornfield Hall. But a fragile peace gives way to turbulent passion when she meets Mr. Rochester, a man concealing a dark secret. Their unconventional relationship leads to a terrible revelation, and Jane must forge a new future amid the ashes of her ravaged dreams. As she struggles to free herself from the ghosts of her past, Jane realizes that her only hope is to find love on her own terms. To kick off its 19th season, First Folio Theatre (Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83) presents the World Premiere of the gothic drama THE GRAVEDIGGER, which opened October 4 and will run through November 2, 2014. The production is written by First Folio Artistic Associate Joseph Zettelmaier, who recently opened the World Premiere of his play Salvage at First Folio Theatre to sold-out audiences. Jeff Award nominee Alison C. Vesely (First Folio's A Moon for the Misbegotten) will direct. The cast is led by Craig Spidle (Brigadoon at The Goodman Theatre, Twelfth Night at First Folio Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof at Drury Lane Theatre) as "Kurt" (The Gravedigger), Joshua Caroll as "Anton" (The Monster), Simina Contras as "Nadya" (A Gypsy), and Doug MacKechnie as "Victor" (The Creator).
