A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Alliance Theatre's annual holiday production, returns to the Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre November 12 – December 24, 2021. 

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced a robust slate of playwright commissions through Manhattan Theatre Club's new partnership with the Edgerton Foundation, as well as a new round of commissions supported by ongoing partnerships with Bobbie Olsen and other donors.

Allyn Burrows, became aware of the piece by Yasmina Reza when it ran in New York in the late 1990’s and it has been with him ever since.  Given that the play was translated into English by Christopher Hampton twenty-five years ago, along with the current common need for something to laugh about - ART’s time in the Berkshires has come.

On May 30th and 31st, West 14th will open their fourth virtual production, God of Carnage, written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton. The story follows the aftermath of a playground altercation between two eleven-year-old boys, as two sets of Brooklyn parents agree to meet in a civilized manner to discuss the incident.

The fabled date is getting nearer!  For months, May 17 has loomed large in the calendar of London theatreland as the signal for playhouses to reopen their doors after a five-month lockdown - a period of closure that has, of course, been much longer in New York for the simple reason that London theaters did at least flicker partially to life last autumn.

Academy Award-winning French playwright Florian Zeller's work is back at MTC with The Truth, opening on Thursday 10 June at Southbank Theatre.
