Scott Alan's digital EP, 'Anything Worth Holding on To', which includes songs written and performed by Alan, is out today, May 6.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation will give aspiring performers across the country their "big break" when the program embarks on Take It To The Limit: Defining EXTA-Ordinary, the 2014 Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour. The national non-profit training program will present an incredible roster of Broadway directors, performers, and industry insiders who will offer highly personalized musical theatre training and mentoring through unique, week-long performing arts intensive workshops for students of all ages, skill levels, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Massey, who is currently starring on Broadway as the title character in Pippin, recently chatted with BroadwayWorld about the revolutionary new resource and why it's worth it for performers to take advantage of its services. Check out the full interview below!

Mark Cuddy, Producer of The Cape Playhouse, has announced the casting for his first slate of productions during the historic theater's 88th Season in Dennis, MA. Six shows - a mix of comedies, dramas & musicals - starring Broadway actors will be live on stage from June 9 - August 30, 2014.

For the month of April, performers can submit their song or monologue videos on Stagelighter.com to a panel of six Broadway casting directors for free. Panelists will nominate videos into a final round which will be posted on Stagelighter's Facebook page and one performer chosen by the public will win round trip airfare to New York City, private meetings with each of the six casting directors, tickets to a Broadway show plus a backstage tour. MAD COW THEATRE announces the headliners for the The Twelfth Annual Orlando Cabaret Festival, Orlando's Home of the Great American Songbook. MIDTOWN DIRECT REP (MDR), the resident theater company at South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC), and co-directors/producers Sandy Rustin (Playwright/Co-Lyricist Rated P ... for Parenthood) and Deborah Goldstein (Publisher Village Q) are pleased to announce the incredible local cast of the 2014 North Jersey show of Listen to Your Mother, a national series of original live readings about motherhood (www.listentoyourmothershow.com). The production will be May 10th at 5:00 PM show at The South Orange Performing Arts Center (One SOPAC Way, South Orange, NJ, 07079). Statewide open auditions were held in early March and 15 writers have been selected to join the movement of 'giving motherhood a microphone.' After his recent concert at the IndigO2 in 2013, Songwriter Scott Alan will return to the Hippodrome Casino for five intimate concerts at the Hippodrome Casino. Alan will be joined by a rotating cast of special guests, to be announced closer to concert dates.

MIDTOWN DIRECT REP (MDR), the resident theater company at South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC), has announced a staged reading of the new musical SEXTET, based on an original story by Chad Hardin, with music and lyrics by Hardin, and book plus additional music, lyrics and direction by Bradley Dean, on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 7 pm.

On Sunday, December 15, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn in his "2nd Annual Frank & Friends Holiday Concert."
