Idina Menzel may be joining the upcoming movie adaptation of Cinderella, starring Camila Cabello!

Idina Menzel has just announced on Instagram that she will be making her way to Carnegie Hall this December for a concert celebrating her upcoming holiday album. 

Idina Menzel will release a new album, Christmas: A Season of Love on October 18th. The album will be released to coincide with Disney's Frozen 2 and will feature guest artists Ariana Grande, Billy Porter, Josh Gad, and Menzel's husband, Aaron Lohr.

Broadway's original Mark in a?oeRent,a?? Anthony Rapp, will present his solo show at Bucks County Playhouse on Saturday, September 21 at 8:00 pm. Rapp's appearance is part of the Playhouse's Visiting Artists Series.

Tonight, FOX will air their third live musical production. Following in the footsteps of Grease and A Christmas Story, the network will be presenting Jonathan Larson's Rent, a rock musical that is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera, La boheme. The story follows a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in New York City's East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

 Netflix has entered into a multi-year first look deal with Academy Award nominated writer, producer, director Chris Columbus and his 1492 Pictures partners, Michael Barnathan and Mark Radcliffe. Under the deal, Netflix gets a first look at any feature film that Columbus and his partners want to produce.

THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES, a holiday adventure from producer Chris Columbus (“Home Alone”, 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone') and director Clay Kaytis ('The Angry Birds Movie'), tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. After staking out Santa's arrival, they sneak into his sleigh, cause it to crash and nearly derail Christmas. As their wild night unfolds, Kate and Teddy work together with Santa - as you've never seen him before - and his loyal Elves to save Christmas before it's too late.

Warners and Warner Animation Group are working on new versions of 'Tom and Jerry' and 'Scooby-Doo,' according to Variety. The company is in negotiations with Tim Story to direct the live-action hybrid version of 'Tom and Jerry' and Chris Columbus is a creative producer on the 'Scooby-Doo' animated film.

Tony Award-winning actress, singer and performer Idina Menzel's music video for her studio version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is out now. Watch/share the video HERE. The song comes from her upcoming album idina: live which is slated for release October 12. Along with "Bridge Over Troubled Water," Menzel recently released her live versions of Rent's "Seasons of Love," and "Don't Rain on My Parade" which premiered at Playbill and TheaterMania respectively.

Idina Menzel has signed on for the Safdie Brothers' A24 movie Uncut Gems, according to Deadline. Menzel will be joining Adam Sandler, Eric Bogosian, Lakeith Stanfield and Judd Hirsch in the crime film.

Tony Award-winning actress, singer and performer Idina Menzel is set to release her upcoming album, idina: live, on October 5. The two-disc album was recorded live on the final nights of her 2017 World Tour. The record is available for pre-order tomorrow Friday, September 7 and includes an immediate download of Menzel's studio version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water." The track will also be available for streaming on all digital platforms tomorrow.

'It's a straight play, so I'm not singing in it. It's such a relief to wake up and be like, 'Is [my voice] there?' When I'm in a musical I'm always so worried!'
