During the interview, Field was asked if she would consider being involved in the recently announced sequel to the hit comedy Mrs. Doubtfire.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Fox 2000 is developing a sequel to MRS. DOUBTFIRE, which hit theaters in 1993 starring Robin Williams. Original director Chris Columbus and Williams would both return for part two. David Berenbaum (Elf) will pen the script.

According to ComingSoon, Warner Bros. has now put the film 'on the fast track.' There aren't many details available, but it appears that they are still waiting for Spielberg to sign on. The movie will not be remade without him on the team.
