The first-ever  Broadway revival of FUNNY GIRL has recouped its $16.5 million capitalization after opening in April 2022 at the August  Wilson Theatre. 

Over the weekend, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was in New York and attended FUNNY GIRL starring Lea Michele. She stayed after the show, met the cast and took some photos with the company. Check out the photos here!

FUNNY GIRL, the sensational musical comedy revival, is coming to DeVos Performance Hall for its Michigan premiere during a limited one-week engagement from September 19 to September 24. This kicks off the Broadway Grand Rapids 35th Anniversary season.

FUNNY GIRL, the sensational musical comedy revival, is coming to Detroit’s Fisher Theatre for a limited two-week engagement from September 26 to October 8 as a part of Broadway In Detroit’s 2023-24 Subscription Season.

Lea Michele has tested positive for Covid, and will be out of Funny Girl this week.

Lea Michele revealed that she hopes that a filmed version of the Funny Girl revival may be in our future! Michele, who joined the cast in August of last year, was asked by E! if a movie is in the works while attending Variety's Power of Women event.

Producers Sonia Friedman, Scott Landis and David Babani announced today that Emmy Award nominee Lea Michele, Tony and Olivier Award nominee Ramin Karimloo, 2022 Tony & Drama Desk Award nominee and Chita Rivera Award winner Jared Grimes and four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh have extended their critically acclaimed, record-breaking run in Broadway’s FUNNY GIRL through Sunday, September 3, 2023, when FUNNY GIRL will play its final performance at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street).
