Bloomingdale School of Music’s second virtual community concert and spring benefit A Symphony of Bloomingdale: In the Key of Hope on April 13, 2021 raised more than $50,000, exceeding their goal by more than 10%. All money raised supports the school’s Student Scholarship Fund.

Bloomingdale School of Music will present a virtual community concert and spring benefit A Symphony of Bloomingdale: In the Key of Hope on Tuesday, April 13, 2020 at 7pm. The event will include songs from Rent and The Wizard of Oz, with performances by Alyssa Fox (Frozen, Wicked), Aisha Jackson (Frozen), and more.

On December 21, 2020 at 8 pm EST, the stars of Broadway, TV, and film will unite for a holiday celebration concert to support Middle Collegiate Church. Director/Choreographer Matthew Johnson Harris (Take Me to the World at Carnegie Hall, Alvin Ailey core instructor) will direct and host.

Broadway Match Maker, a bone marrow donor database drive, will be held today, June 27th from 4:30-7:00pm at The Actors Fund Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts (729 7th Avenue, 12th Floor). All members of Broadway's diverse community are encouraged to join the donor database through a non-invasive 60-second simple cheek swab. Disney's The Lion King is partnering with Shannon's S.H.A.R.E. Foundation, The Actors Fund, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and Mount Sinai Doctors for the event.

Delete Blood Cancer DKMS co-founder Katharina Harf hosted the Tenth Annual DKMS Gala last night at Cipriani Wall Street, which raised more than $4.6 million to help fund the registration of lifesaving bone marrow donors across the country. With these funds, DKMS can register more than 71,000 potential bone marrow donors.
