The Los Angeles International Dance Festival (LAIDF) presents Debbie Allen's FREEZE FRAME, Lula Washington Dance Theatre and Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies together onstage for one night only in 'Dancing For Life!' at The Orpheum Theater on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 7:30pm.

The African & African American Performing Arts Coalition and K*Star*Productions are proud to announce the 16th annual Black Choreographers Festival: Here and Now (BCF), which will take place over three consecutive weekends, February 22 a?" March 8, in San Francisco and Oakland. Following the opening at SAFEhouse Arts in San Francisco, the Festival will move to Dance Mission Theater, with the final program at Laney College Theater in Oakland, March 7 a?" 8. The 9th Annual World Choreography Awards (WCA) celebrate creativity and innovation by recognizing global excellence in the art of choreography in movies, TV, music video and digital media. On December 7 and 8 at 7:30 PM, the legendary Fresh Tracks Performance and Residency Program at New York Live Arts will showcase the work of their five selected emerging choreographers: Emma Rose Brown, J. Bouey, Liana Conyers, Collin Ranf, and Dolores (Lola) Sanchez. As part of its annual programming, Fresh Tracks has been a 54-year commitment to bringing new voices to the forefront. With cutting-edge tap choreography and improvisation, On That Note proves that tap dance is stylish, powerful, and certainly alive.

The Metropolitan Room presents the NYC premiere of 'TAPTASTIC!', the tap dance cabaret starring Brian Davis (After Midnight Norwegian Escape, Showtime at the Apollo) and featuring Pamela Yasutake (Broadway's Shuffle Along, Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies) on April 24 at 9:30PM.

The American Tap Dance Foundation (ATDF), under the artistic direction of Tony Waag, presented its 5th yearly showcase Rhythm in Motion, March 29-April 2, 2017 at the Duke on 42nd Street. The series featured two distinct programs of fresh, groundbreaking tap dance choreography, with some strong and emotional statements. This is a very interesting time for tap dance as “the world has finally realized that tap dance and tap choreography can also test the audience, tell a story, be influenced by world issues and express anger, fear, sadness, and spirituality” said Mr. Waag, ATDF Artistic/Executive Director and curator of this show. The program featured some of the best and emerging tap dancers/choreographers of this time.
