UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) welcomes back the return of bestselling author and humorist David Sedaris in his annual sojourn at Royce Hall where he will read from new and unpublished work on Friday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. at Royce Hall. Tony Lo Bianco, Lee Roy Reams and Steven Maglio headline a special Veterans Day concert celebrating members of the armed forces and their families at The Triad, 158 West 72nd Street, on Saturday November 10 at 3pm. Hosted by co-producer Randie Levine-Miller, "Galaxy of Stars" will donate 100% of its proceeds to the Vetwell Project of Operation Warrior Shield, whose primary mission is to provide support programs for veterans and first responders focusing on "healing the hidden wounds of war." The 8th Annual World Choreography Awards (WCA) will be held on October 23 at The Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. The Choreography Awards, produced and directed by Allen Walls and Cheryl Baxter-Ratliff, are a global awards show celebrating and honoring the best in media choreography. The WCA recognizes choreographic achievement in 8 categories: Motion Picture, Music Video, Commercials, Television Episodic, Television Award Show/Specials, Digital Content, Digital Content Independent and Television Reality Show/Competition.
DanceWorks is pleased to present the world premiere of The art of degeneration, choreographed and performed by the award-winning Toronto-based dancer/choreographer Louis Laberge-Cote. Chicago Sings: Alanis Morissette is the first of a future cabaret series featuring some of Chicago's hottest local talent for an evening to celebrate the seven Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette. The concert is produced and directed by Brittney Brown, Alex Iacobucci, and Travis Monroe Neese.
Nancy Manocherian's the cell (Artistic Director, Kira Simring), who scored a hit last season with the World Premiere musical Bastard Jones, will present the New York Premiere of THE EVOLUTION OF MANN, a musical featuring music & lyrics by Drama Desk nominee Douglas J. Cohen (Children's Letters to God, The Opposite of Sex) and book & lyrics by Dan Elish (13: The Musical) based on his novel, Nine Wives. Directed by Joe Barros (Bastard Jones), the production will star Max Crumm (Grease, Disaster!) in the title role. Previews begin September 23 at the cell with opening slated for Today, October 4.

The nationally syndicated game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” will present an entire week of special celebrity contestants during “Celebrity Week: Las Vegas,” airing Monday, Oc. 15 – Friday, Oct. 19. This season the show will have given away more than $100 million in total winnings since its syndicated debut and during “Celebrity Week: Las Vegas,” each contestant will take on the classic 14-question game for the chance to win $1 million for their favorite charity.

Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, February 28, 2019, with an official Opening Night set for Thursday, March 21, 2019.
