CAP UCLA Presents David Sedaris: New And Unpublished Work

UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) welcomes back the return of bestselling author and humorist David Sedaris in his annual sojourn at Royce Hall where he will read from new and unpublished work on Friday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. at Royce Hall. “Galaxy Of Stars” Concert Salutes Veterans At The Triad

Tony Lo Bianco, Lee Roy Reams and Steven Maglio headline a special Veterans Day concert celebrating members of the armed forces and their families at The Triad, 158 West 72nd Street, on Saturday November 10 at 3pm. Hosted by co-producer Randie Levine-Miller, "Galaxy of Stars" will donate 100% of its proceeds to the Vetwell Project of Operation Warrior Shield, whose primary mission is to provide support programs for veterans and first responders focusing on "healing the hidden wounds of war." Fresno State University Theatre Brings Lives Of Dreamers Center Stage In JUST LIKE US

University Theatre is pleased to present the Central Valley premiere of 'Just Like Us' by Karen Zacarias, based on the novel by Helen Thorpe. The production is directed by Dr. Gina Sandi-Diaz and runs October 26 - November 3, 2018 in the Dennis & Cheryl Woods Theatre in the Speech Arts building on the campus of Fresno State.

8th Annual World Choreography Awards to Be Held Oct 23

The 8th Annual World Choreography Awards (WCA) will be held on October 23 at The Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. The Choreography Awards, produced and directed by Allen Walls and Cheryl Baxter-Ratliff, are a global awards show celebrating and honoring the best in media choreography. The WCA recognizes choreographic achievement in 8 categories: Motion Picture, Music Video, Commercials, Television Episodic, Television Award Show/Specials, Digital Content, Digital Content Independent and Television Reality Show/Competition.

DanceWorks / Louis Laberge-Côté Present the Premieres THE ART OF DEGENERATION

DanceWorks is pleased to present the world premiere of The art of degeneration, choreographed and performed by the award-winning Toronto-based dancer/choreographer Louis Laberge-Cote. Multidisciplinary and thought-provoking, The art of degeneration runs from Wednesday, October 31 to Saturday, November 3 at The Citadel, in Toronto's Regent Park/Cabbagetown neighbourhood at 304 Parliament St.

Stage Coach Players' JEKYLL & HYDE Brings Halloween Horror To DeKalb

Stage Coach Players of DeKalb, Illinois is set to take the stage for their fall musical production of JEKYLL & HYDE, featuring music by Frank Wildhorn, and book & lyrics by Leslie Bricusse. Robert Louis Stevenson's classic allegory of good vs evil is brought to life through gothic aesthetics and a thrilling score ('This is the Moment', 'Once Upon a Dream',, as Dr. Henry Jekyll accidentally releases his murderous alter ego Edward Hyde.

CHICAGO SINGS: ALANIS MORISSETTE Cast Announced

Chicago Sings: Alanis Morissette is the first of a future cabaret series featuring some of Chicago's hottest local talent for an evening to celebrate the seven Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette. The concert is produced and directed by Brittney Brown, Alex Iacobucci, and Travis Monroe Neese.

Max Crumm Stars In New Off-Broadway Musical THE EVOLUTION OF MANN

Nancy Manocherian's the cell (Artistic Director, Kira Simring), who scored a hit last season with the World Premiere musical Bastard Jones, will present the New York Premiere of THE EVOLUTION OF MANN, a musical featuring music & lyrics by Drama Desk nominee Douglas J. Cohen (Children's Letters to God, The Opposite of Sex) and book & lyrics by Dan Elish (13: The Musical) based on his novel, Nine Wives. Directed by Joe Barros (Bastard Jones), the production will star Max Crumm (Grease, Disaster!) in the title role. Previews begin September 23 at the cell with opening slated for Today, October 4.

Brian Charles Rooney Leads INTO THE WOODS At Out of the Box Theatrics

Out of the Box Theatrics, Founder and Producing Artistic Director Elizabeth Flemming, Associate Artistic Director Ethan Paulini will present a brand new revival of Into the Woods. The classic musical features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. Ethan Paulini will direct. Marisa Kirby choreographs with music direction by Anessa Marie. Brian Charles Rooney leads a cast that includes Amara Janae Brady, Gaby Garcia, Alie B. Gorrie, Alicia Krakauer, Alaina Mills, Celena Vera Morgan, Sydney Ronis and Katherine Yacko.

WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE Presents 'Celebrity Week: Las Vegas'

The nationally syndicated game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” will present an entire week of special celebrity contestants during “Celebrity Week: Las Vegas,” airing Monday, Oc. 15 – Friday, Oct. 19. This season the show will have given away more than $100 million in total winnings since its syndicated debut and during “Celebrity Week: Las Vegas,” each contestant will take on the classic 14-question game for the chance to win $1 million for their favorite charity.

Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, February 28, 2019, with an official Opening Night set for Thursday, March 21, 2019.
