The Groundlings' Halloween Show Is Headed To Hollywood ImageThe hauntingly hilarious Groundlings Halloween Show is headed to Hollywood.

The only show where boos are encouraged... For the first time ever, The Groundlings Theatre is taking sketch comedy to scary proportions with it's all new Halloween-themed comedy show. Featuring smoke effects, strobe lights, loud noises, gratuitous blood, tasteful gore, creepy clowns, unconscionable wig usage and an appropriate amount of severed body parts, this show will have you howling at the moon with laughter. May cause itchy spine, tingly fingers, Delapsus Resurgam (Fear of Comedy) and symptoms of uncontrollable bladder. Viewer discretion is advised.

Directed by Deanna Oliver, the spooktacular cast includes, Lauren Burns, Chris Eckert, Laird MacIntosh, Ariane Price, Eliot Schwartz, and Greg Worswick.

The show will run Friday and Saturday evenings from October 5th - October 27th at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Tickets are available online, at the box office or via phone at (323) 934-4747 and range from $18.00-$22.00. Only those ages 16 and older will be admitted.

The Groundlings Theatre is an improvisation and sketch comedy theatre that has been entertaining LA audiences since 1974. They are a non-profit organization founded by Gary Austin. A "Groundling" refers to the 30 Main Company members who write and perform in the theatre's prime time slots each week. The Groundlings School has been the foremost comedy training ground in Hollywood and the springboard for countless careers including comic geniuses from film and television such as Melissa McCarthy, Taran Killam, Jennifer Coolidge, Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Kathy Griffin, Cheryl Hines, Chris Kattan, Lisa Kudrow, Jon Lovitz, Paul Reubens, Maya Rudolph, Mindy Sterling and Kristen Wiig, among others. You can see catch Groundlings and recent alumni on shows such as SNL (Heidi Gardner and Mikey Day), Vice Principals (Edi Patterson), Community (Jim Rash), Man with a Plan (Matt Cook), AP Bio (Lyric Lewis) and in just about every funny commercial running today!
