Stage Coach Players' JEKYLL & HYDE Brings Halloween Horror To DeKalb  Image

Stage Coach Players of DeKalb, Illinois is set to take the stage for their fall musical production of JEKYLL & HYDE, featuring music by Frank Wildhorn, and book & lyrics by Leslie Bricusse. Robert Louis Stevenson's classic allegory of good vs evil is brought to life through gothic aesthetics and a thrilling score ("This is the Moment", "Once Upon a Dream",, as Dr. Henry Jekyll accidentally releases his murderous alter ego Edward Hyde.

JEKYLL & HYDE stars Steven Becker of DeKalb as the title duo, Elenia Dokos of Sycamore as Lucy, Meg McGarry of Plano as Emma, Rudy Espiritu as John Utterson, and Dave Watson of Yorkville as Sir Danvers Carew.

Rounding out the cast is Scotty Fleetwood as Proops / Spider, Michael Steffen as Lord Savage, Darren Whaley as General Glossop, Cheri Heinz as Lady Beaconsfield, Jeff Hall as Bishop of Basingstoke, Larry Rapach as Simon Stride, Shannon Becker as Nellie, Jessica Falco, Dorcas Keating, Stephanie Mabry, Riley Powers, Allison Scigalski, Wendy Tritt, Jackie Was, Cheryl Hellyer, Deb Brubaker, Karla Gulke, Robyn Lycan, Chris Welch, Jacob Ihm, Bryan Fowler, Korey Miller, Jock Sommese, Greg Yep, and Patrick Deering.

The creative team includes Cortney Jo Newby (Director), Hillary Rutten (Music Director), Judy O'Connor (Orchestra Director), Jan Kuntz (Producer), Angela Schiola-Niemeyer (Stage Manager), & Samantha Gaul (Choreographer).

JEKYLL & HYDE will run for eight performances at Stage Coach Players at 126 South 5th Street in DeKalb between 10/24/2018-11/4/2018. Evening shows start at 7:30 PM, and matinees on 10/27 & 11/4 start at 2:00 PM. More information and tickets are available at https://scpjekyll2018.weebly.com
