MCC Theater Cancels Today's Live Reading of PUES NADA

MCC Theater has announced that the scheduled live reading of Pues Nada by Aziza Barnes, scheduled for 5:30pm today on MCC's YouTube channel, has been cancelled due to a last minute actor conflict.

MCC Theater announces their latest LIVE LABS: ONE ACTS , Aziza Barnes' Pues Nada , will be presented on Wednesday, June 3rd at 5:30 pm for free on the MCC Theater YouTube channel.

Winners of the 64th Annual Obie Awards were announced just last night, May 20, in a ceremony held at New York City's Terminal 5. Heidi Schreck's What the Constitution Means to Me, produced by New York Theatre Workshop, received the Obie Award for Best New American Play, which is accompanied by a $1,000 prize. Artistic Director of New York Theatre Workshop, James C. Nicola, and Artistic Director and founder of Theatre For A New Audience, Jeffrey Horowitz received special Obie Awards for Lifetime Achievement. Golden Globe® winning 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' creator and star Rachel Bloom hosted this year's ceremony, which was held at Terminal 5 (610 West 56th Street).

The acclaimed Fiasco Theater production of 'Into the Woods' opened April 5, 2017, at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre and plays through May 14, 2017. The celebrated new production of the Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, is directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld. The show has played 29 preview performances and 64 regular performances.
