Full casting has been announced for director Emily Burns' playful and contemporary take on Shakespeare's comedy, Love's Labour's Lost, which runs in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon between 11 April – 18 May.

Broadway Records will release London’s Bridge Theatre cast recording of Guys & Dolls, available digitally on September 29, 2023.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has announced the appointment of Charlotte Sutton as the company’s new Head of Casting. Sutton is currently an Artistic Associate of the Young Vic; and was the Casting Associate at Chichester Festival Theatre from 2017 to 2023. She joins the company effective as of November this year.

The full cast has been announced for the world premiere of THE INQUIRY by Harry Davies at Chichester’s Minerva Theatre, where an extra week of performances has been added. The production now runs from 13 October – 11 November (press night: 17 October).  

Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss’ record breaking collaboration The Unfriend will be making its return to the West End this year. The show will open in previews at Wyndham's Theatre on 16 December and will run until 9 March 2024, with a press night on 9 January 2024.

While the teaser does not give away any specific plot details, it showcases flashbacks from the series before displaying an empty theatre with the words: 'The beginning of the Stranger Things story might hold the key to what comes next.' Owain Arthur will play the role of Nathan Detroit in Nicholas Hytner’s critically acclaimed immersive production of Guys & Dolls. Arthur will have his first performance on 17 July 2023 replacing Daniel Mays, who will return to the role on 16 October.

Audiences will be catapulted into the American political arena where music, folklore and show-business collide head-on with the American Dream, for the first major production of Stephen Sondheim’s musical Assassins since the composer’s death in 2021.
