Shakespeare’s Globe has announced that Ola Ince’s 2024 production of Othello is set for cinema broadcast. This will be the Globe’s first cinema broadcast since 2019.

As celebrations continue for the 400th Anniversary of the First Folio across 2023, Shakespeare’s Globe will return to Westminster Abbey for the hugely popular Shakespeare in the Abbey for six special performances beginning this evening and running until Friday 31 March.

Shakespeare’s Globe will be the first company to perform at The Amphitheatre, a stunning new venue in the heart of the Cotswolds. Julius Caesar is directed by Diane Page and performed by Globe on Tour and will open 14 – 15 June.

Paines Plough's award-winning portable in-the-round auditorium, ROUNDABOUT was conceived by Grieve and Perrin and launched in 2014. ROUNDABOUT will showcase three world premieres, ON THE OTHER HAND, WE'RE HAPPY by Daf James, DEXTER AND WINTER'S DETECTIVE AGENCY by Nathan Bryon and DAUGHTERHOOD by Charley Miles across the country.

The Watermill Theatre announces the cast for a new adaptation of THE RIVALS, Richard Brinsley Sheridan's classic comedy of desire, intrigue and romantic delusion. Adapted by Beth Flintoff, whose credits include Henry I of England and Oscar Wilde on Trial (Reading Between The Lines Theatre Company) and Greenham: 100 Years of War and Peace (Rosa Productions), this lively new version will be directed by Jonathan Humphreys whose credits include The Mighty Walzer (Manchester Royal Exchange) and Romeo and Juliet (Sheffield Crucible). THE RIVALS will run at The Watermill Theatre from 15 March to 21 April.
