Following the critically-acclaimed 2016 premiere of Fagin's Twist and last year's highly successful tour, Avant Garde Dance and The Place collaborate once again to present the 2018 UK autumn tour. The story unravels and explodes into a captivating performance and ambitious dance show, based on Charles Dickens' much-loved classic. Fagin's Twist is the untold story of a notorious and complex villain with a mischievous twist.

Nav Sidhu (How I Live Now, The Kumars, Gangs of Tooting Broadway), Penny Layden (RSC, National Theatre, Call the Midwife), Samuel James (Birds of a Feather, National Theatre's Twelfth Night, Bryony Lavery's Stockholm), Sean Michael Verey (Pramface, Radiant Vermin, Tonight with Donny Styxx) and Sophie Wu (Fresh Meat, Kick Ass, Black Mirror) will star in James Graham's Sketching, playing at Wilton's Music Hall from Wednesday 26 September - Saturday 27 October, with a press night on Tuesday 2 October.

In December 1867, Charles Dickens arrives in New York City for a month of sold-out performances of his beloved holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. Join Mr. Dickens, portrayed by actor John Kevin Jones, as he tells his timeless Christmas tale in the elegant intact Greek Revival parlor of the landmark 1832 Merchant's House Museum (29 East 4th Street, Manhattan). Summoners Ensemble Theatre brings their production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL back to the Merchant's House Museum for the sixth smash year in a row.

Art is alive and thriving in Oakland County with Meadow Brook Theatre, Michigan's largest producing professional theatre located on Oakland University's campus in Rochester. The theatre operates as a non-profit and employs a staff of over 40 local artists. Each season, sets, costume, lighting and sound are designed and executed in house for a truly unique theatre experience.

Following the ongoing success of The Marlowe's participation programme, a new term of creative classes will launch next month (September). Based at The Marlowe Kit (The Marlowe's new venue on Stour Street), these provide the opportunity for all to attend regular classes in acting, writing and dance, which aim to help students learn theatre skills, build confidence and enjoy themselves.

Trinity Rep announces auditions for children 8-12 years of age for its upcoming production of beloved New England tradition, A Christmas Carol.  Auditions will take place Saturday, September 8, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Cardi's Furniture, at 999 Newport Avenue, Attleboro, MA.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce the opening of "Becoming Dr. Ruth," a moving and humorous new biographical comedy to kick off its 2018-2019 Season. Playing September 21 to October 21 in the ArtStage Studio Theatre, the run includes four nearly sold out preview performances September 18-20 and stars Broadway and regional theatre veteran, Susan Greenhill, and welcomes back director and longtime Florida Rep ensemble member, Chris Clavelli.

The Arcadia Performing Arts Center announces today its new 2018-19 Season 7. Presented by the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation, the new season features legacy artists and emerging talent, reflects a diverse community, and raises funds to give back to local schools. An all-inclusive membership program encourages community, highlights leadership, and honors legacy members. KFI AM 640 is the season's official radio partner.

Welcoming the audience to get involved in the action, the Saint Sebastian Players (SSP) open the company's 38th season with the multiple Tony Award-winning musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood with book, music and lyrics by Rupert Holmes. Performances are October 26-November 18, 2018 at SSP's home in the lower level of St. Bonaventure, 1625 W. Diversey, Chicago. Starting this season, SSP Friday and Saturday evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday matinees remain at 2 p.m.

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 83rd Rolling World Premiere (RWP): Wolf at the Door by Marisela Traviño Orta. The Roll kicks off at Member Theater New Jersey Repertory Company (October 18-November 18 in Long Branch), followed by Kitchen Dog Theater (April 11-May 5 in Dallas), Milagro (May 2-25 in Portland) and Halcyon Theatre (May 16-June 29 in Chicago).

Calling all TV fans, the Tribeca TV Festival is back on the big screen bringing audiences together to discover new series and be the first to see favorite new season premieres. The 2nd Tribeca TV Festival will celebrate unforgettable storytellers who have shaped what 'peak TV' is today and introduce new voices in episodic storytelling. Over four days at Spring Studios in New York City, each event will feature a conversation with the stars and creators of favorite and soon-to-be-favorite shows. Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies, is proud to open its 86th season with the Tony Award-winning musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood.   With Book, Music and Lyrics written by Rupert Holmes, The Mystery of Edwin Drood is based on an unfinished novel by Charles Dickens. Under the direction of Steve Bell, The Mystery of Edwin Droodwill be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from September 8th through October 6th, 2018.  Shows will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.bcplayers.org, by calling 201-261-4200 or by visiting the box office at 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell during regular box office hours. 

Titan Theatre Company announced its highly anticipated 10th Anniversary season today. The company will present their season as the official 'Company in Residence' at Queens Theatre in beautiful Flushing Meadows Park.

Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) announces their 2018/2019 Season. The Season runs from October 5, 2018 - May 27, 2019.

Trinity Rep announces tickets to its 2018-19 Season will go on sale tomorrow, August 14, 2018, beginning at 10:00 am. Tickets start at $25 and will be available for purchase by phone at (401) 351-4242, online at www.trinityrep.com, or in person at the theater's box office at 201 Washington Street, Providence. The 2018-19 Season is one of the largest the company has ever produced and one of the most diverse.
