Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) announces their 2018/2019 Season. The Season runs from October 5, 2018 - May 27, 2019.

Trinity Rep announces tickets to its 2018-19 Season will go on sale tomorrow, August 14, 2018, beginning at 10:00 am. Tickets start at $25 and will be available for purchase by phone at (401) 351-4242, online at www.trinityrep.com, or in person at the theater's box office at 201 Washington Street, Providence. The 2018-19 Season is one of the largest the company has ever produced and one of the most diverse.

PICT Classic Theatre has announced its 2018-2019 Season, "Classics in our times."   Having celebrated its 100th production last season with William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, PICT will present a collection of three plays beginning in the Fall of 2018 at WQED's Fred Rogers Studio in Oakland.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce directors for its 2018-2019 Season and complete casting for five of its upcoming productions. The theatre's 21st season is set to open to previews Sept. 18 with the moving, one-woman comedy, Becoming Dr. Ruth, which kicks off a nine-show season in the theatre's two venues.

Nancy Manocherian's the cell (Artistic Director, Kira Simring), who scored a hit last season with the World Premiere musical Bastard Jones, will present the New York Premiere of THE EVOLUTION OF MANN, a musical featuring music & lyrics by Drama Desk nominee Douglas J. Cohen (Children's Letters to God, The Opposite of Sex) and book & lyrics by Dan Elish (13: The Musical) based on his novel, Nine Wives. Directed by Joe Barros (Bastard Jones), the production will star Max Crumm (Grease, Disaster!) in the title role. Previews begin September 23 at the cell with opening slated for Thursday, October 4.

Following a well-received Sarasota Festival of New Plays this past spring, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces an addition to its New Play Development program. Three new works will be staged throughout the month of August featuring some of the latest work by George Brant, Barry Harman and Keith Herrmann, and Sandy Rustin. "Good comedies with exciting stories are hard to find and we have found three well-crafted tales from various eras, points of view, and comedic angles," shared FST Associate Artist Catherine Randazzo. Talkbacks will follow each reading, giving audiences the chance to engage with each piece more deeply, while also giving playwrights valuable feedback. These readings are free and open to the public, though reservations are required.
