New Jersey Repertory Company will present new performance series, ONE NIGHT STAND. These special engagements are an eclectic array of fun, one-night-only, engagements.

Internationally lauded pianist and composer Emmet Cohen released his album Uptown in Orbit via Mack Avenue Records. Early in the pandemic, Cohen started a weekly gig in his Harlem apartment called “Live from Emmet’s Place' — only about eight guests can comfortably attend (by invite-only), but the livestreams have amassed thousands of viewers.

Kansas City Jazz Orchestra Executive Director Lea Petrie today announced the next concert for the 2022-2023 20th Anniversary season, The Voice featuring guest artist Deborah Brown, Thursday, November 10 at 7 p.m. at the Helzberg Hall of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts (1601 Broadway, KCMO 64108).

On Friday, September 23rd, Flushing Town Hall will present GRAMMY-winning American jazz drummer and Queens native Lenny White & Friends for an exciting evening of jazz fusion at 8 PM EST.

The shows will feature Vincent Herring, alto sax, James Carter, tenor sax, Jeremy Pelt, trumpet, Russell Malone, guitar, Dave Kikoski, piano, Essiet Essiet, bass and Johnathan Blake, drums.

THE DJANGO, downtown Manhattan’s premier jazz club, will continue to host today’s jazz legends and rising stars. On February 3, The Django celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Brooklyn-based record label, La Reserve, with special performances by the label’s artists.
