BWW Review: SMALL WORLD at 59E59 is Totally Fascinating

Small World is an insightful and appealing play, one that will challenge your ideas about art in its different forms. Written by Frederick Stroppel and directed by Joe Brancato, the New York City Premiere is now onstage at 59E59 Theaters. This two-hander is an absorbing, entertaining, and informative show.

This limited Off-Broadway engagement will begin performances tonight, Saturday August 19th and continue through September 17th only, at the Cherry Lane Theater (38 Commerce Street, off Seventh Avenue, one block south of Bleecker Street).  The performance runs 80 minutes.

INDECENT Ends Broadway Run with Stunning Final Week Gross of $739,171

INDECENT, a play by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel, created by Ms. Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Ms. Taichman, finished its extended run at Broadway's Cort Theatre yesterday with its highest weekly gross of $739,171. INDECENT began previews April 4 and opened April 18. The production played 128 performances and 15 previews.

Public Theater Cancels Saturday Matinees of HAMLET for 'Welfare of Actors'
