Goodman Theatre announces casting for ANOTHER WORD FOR BEAUTY, a world premiere music-filled work by Academy Award nominee Jose Rivera with music by Grammy Award winner Hector Buitrago. Directed by Steve Cosson and developed through a co-commission between the Goodman and the New York-based theater company The Civilians, ANOTHER WORD FOR BEAUTY is inspired by the true stories of the inmates at El Buen Pastor womens prison in Bogota, Colombia, who compete in a beauty pageant intended by their jailers to motivate and rehabilitate them.

SUMMER SHORTS 2015 began at 59E59 Theaters, produced by Throughline Artists (J.J. Kandel, Producing Director), on July 17 and continues through August 29. INTAR today announced that Adoration of the Old Woman by Jose Rivera and directed by Patricia McGregor, starring Raul Castillo (HBO's 'Looking'), Danielle Davenport, Jose Joaquin Perez, Socorro Santiago and Carmen Zilles, will continue through for another week, through April 27th to accommodate overwhelming demand.

Ars Nova kicks off 2014 with Game Play, this year's incarnation of Ars Nova's annual Play Group production. An evening of original short plays and live music inspired by classic board game titles, Game Play features Peter Benson, Marcia DeBonis, Dashiell Eaves, Brandon Gill, Ben Graney, Susan Heyward, Jessica Love and Carmen Zilles. This production plays 10 performances, today, January 29 - February 8.
