Little Shop of Horrors is currently playing at the Avon Theatre through Nov. 2 as part of the Stratford Festival.

If you are in Stratford, Ontario and are looking for a good time, look no further than this season's production of horror comedy rock musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. There aren't a whole lot of shows that can call themselves a horror comedy rock musical, but if you frequent these parts…or, you know, have a pulse, chances are you saw one last year too. The success of last season's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW has sent the message that audiences get a kick out of the subversive escape that this kind of show can offer, and so, Director/Choreographer Donna Feore is serving up another delicious hit in the same vein as ROCKY HORROR (puns intended).

Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino has announced key casting for the 2019 season, including Michael Blake as Othello and Amelia Sargisson as Desdemona in the season opener, Othello, one of Shakespeare's greatest and best-known tragedies.

Relive the romance as the Academy Award-winning film turned Broadway musical makes its Canadian debut at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse. Featuring the epic love story that audiences remember and a new pop-rock score, Ghost: The Musical is on stage for three weeks only from October 3 to October 21.

The Book of Mormon today announces a ticket lottery, in which a limited number of tickets will be sold by ballot for $40 each on the day of the performance. The show's ticket lottery policy began with the Broadway production, and has continued for all subsequent productions, which include two US National Tours and London's West End. The Book of Mormon is currently in previews at the Princess Theatre. Opening night is Saturday 4 February.

An additional preview was announced today for the upcoming Melbourne production of The Book of Mormon, on Tuesday 17 January at 7pm at the Princess Theatre.

Due to unprecedented demand, new seats for The Book of Mormon go on sale to the general public today. Bookings for the award-winning musical have now been extended to 30 April 2017 at Melbourne's Princess Theatre.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce the cast for the SONGWRITERS SHOWCASE and the SONGWRITERS CABARET at the 27th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16. On October 25th the popular Broadway Understudies twitter account (@understudies) has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in the 6th edition of 'Half Hour: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.
