Kevin Quantum: VANISHING POINT Announced At Adelaide Fringe

After sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2015, Adelaide Fringe 2017-18 and Perth Fringe 2018 critically acclaimed Edinburgh magician, scientist and comedian Kevin Quantum presents his new show Vanishing Point at the Garden. The show combines state of the art magic with incredible science. As magic creatures go, Kevin fits somewhere between Gandalf and Brian Cox and is the closest thing to real magic a believer, or a cynic will ever find.

Earlier this year Kevin instantly saw parallels between the black-hat techniques used by modern data tech firms and age-old magical deception methods. In his new show he magically explores the concept of invisibility in a world of disappearing identity and vanishing privacy. Expect laugh out loud moments, stunning vanishes, striking predictions about you - as he puts his life on the line with the most dangerous sci-fi, inspired stunt he's ever attempted.

Kevin has appeared in BBC documentaries, consulted for the National Theatre of Scotland, taught Eddie Izzard magic for a movie role and broken a Guinness World Record (The Largest Magic Lesson). He was the first magician to perform at The Globe Theatre in London and is Artistic Director of the UK's largest Magic Festival The Edinburgh International Magic Festival. Kevin has been nominated at the Scottish Comedy Awards. He's also one of the very few people that counts quantum physics as a hobby.
