The Play That Goes Wrong, the hilarious Tony Award-winning hit Broadway comedy, will make its Washington, D.C. debut at the Kennedy Center December 18, 2018-January 6, 2019.

THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG gives new meaning to the phrase "brings down the house." An incredible ensemble, seamless direction, and a Tony Award-winning set combine for non-stop, laugh-inducing antics that make this night of theater an absolute delight.

THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG is a comedy by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields of Mischief Theatre Company that won Best New Comedy at the 2015 Laurence Olivier Awards. Mischief Theatre Company have also written Peter Pan Goes Wrong which opened at London's Apollo Theatre in December 2015 starring the same cast. They have also done a spoof of Dickens A Christmas Carol, all with the same frenetic pace and trademark extreme physical comedy. It's like the hyperactive child of Noises Off gone off their meds.

Is there a proper way to describe the best worst play ever? If I was in the audience for "The Murder at Haversham Manor," I probably would have walked out. Before the play even began, scenery was falling, the door wouldn't stay closed and the weary stage manager brought out duct tape.

Everything that could conceivably trip up seasoned performers - who've been reciting monologues in front of their bathroom mirrors since they were toddlers, bring down a set considered to be a landmark in design for the stage (or in the history of architecture since the Greeks built their first temple and the Romans engineered their first aqueduct), and/or send scores of trembling thespians to the emergency room after but one performance - actually befall the cast and crew of The Play That Goes Wrong.

"Two hours of uncompromising joy" is how Evan Alexander Smith describes the critically acclaimed The Play That Goes Wrong, the West End and Broadway comedy hit which just recently embarked on its first national tour of the USA, bringing its unique amalgam of theatrical artistry, uproarious humor and full-out laughter to audiences all over the country.

The Cornley University Drama Society is excited to announce they have found enough students willing to live out of a suitcase for a year to fully cast the first national tour of the Olivier & Tony Award-winning production of Mischief Theatre's The Play That Goes Wrong, which has inexplicably become longest-running play on Broadway.

Bandstand will bring high-octane, heart-stopping, spectacular dancing to movie theaters nationwide this summer. The stars came out to attend a special premiere, check out the photos below!

Bandstand, Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor's Broadway musical directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton), will bring high-octane, heart-stopping, spectacular dancing to movie theaters nationwide this summer in "BANDSTAND: The Broadway Musical on Screen." In addition to the feature content, audiences will enjoy behind-the-scenes and never-before-seen footage of the production.
