Montana TheatreWorks, producers of Damn Yankees, Annie, and Oklahoma! presents The Sound of Music at The Ellen Theatre, August 5- 21.

Broadway's Erin Mackey will lead Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific at Goodspeed Musicals'. The production begins April 17 will run through June 28 at The Goodspeed.

One of the most inspiring operas in decades, Silent Night recounts the miraculous day of peace during WWI when Scottish, French and German soldiers defy their superiors and negotiate a Christmas Eve truce among themselves. The soldiers, bloodied from battle and mourning their dead, soon become brothers as a carol begins, floating softly over no man's land to celebrate Christmas.  

Last night, a one-night-only concert of the short-lived musical ONWARD VICTORIA was presented at Feinstein's/54 Below. The 1980 musical chronicles the life of the first female candidate for President of the United States, Victoria Woodhull. Scroll down for photos from the event!

To celebrate the life of Victoria Woodhull and promote ONWARD VICTORIA, the team created a hashtag: #34DaysOfVictoriaWoodhull. The first female Presidential candidate was only 34 when she ran for President in 1872. For 34 days, facts from her remarkable life were shared. BroadwayWorld has exclusive access to all 34 below!

As previously announced, a one-night-only concert of the short-lived musical ONWARD VICTORIA will be presented at Feinstein's/54 Below tonight, July 19th at 7:00pm. Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical SOUTH PACIFIC (book by Hammerstein and Joshua Logan) is currently playing at Drayton Entertainment's Huron Country Playhouse in Grand Bend, Ontario, under the direction (and choreography) of MICHAEL LICHTEFELD and it is an absolute delight!

American bass Branch Fields, a star in the world of Opera and Broadway, will be featured as Emile de Becque alongside Chilina Kennedy as Nellie Forbush in Drayton Entertainment's production of South Pacific, the award-winning theatre company confirmed today.
