From Damien Chazelle, BABYLON is an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart. The book tells the story of Frank Kameny, a Department of Defense astronomer in the 1950s who led the fight for LGBTQ civil rights in America when he sued the federal government after being fired from his job for being gay.

The enduring power of portraiture through time will be on show when two major exhibitions open at the Art Gallery of South Australia in July.
