WAKE UP with BWW 9/8/14 - 'IMAGINE' Benefit, Christine Ebersole, Teal Wicks and More!
Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? Today's big news: A starry 'IMAGINE' concert benefits cancer research, Christine Ebersole returns to 54 Below and more!
We're doing our Happy Birthday shout-out first today, because our WAKE UP "mugshot" features Teal Wicks, who turns 32! The actress has starred on Broadway as 'Elphaba' in WICKED, as well as in the Los Angeles and San Francisco productions. She also took the stage in Broadway's 2013 revival of JEKYLL & HYDE. Wicks is currently appearing in PIECE OF MY HEART off-Broadway.
