The Academy of The Company Theatre (A.C.T.) presents the musical theatre sensation A Chorus Line, on Friday, January 25, 7:30 pm, Saturday, January 26, 4 and 7:30 pm, and Sunday, January 27, 3 pm at The Company Theatre Center for Performing Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell. A Chorus Line is conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, with book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and co-choreographed by Bob Avian. The production is directed by Jordie Saucerman, with music direction by Melissa Carubia and choreography by Sally Forrest.

Casting for Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON-a smash hit in London, on Broadway, and currently breaking box office records on a national tour in the U.K.-has been announced for its highly anticipated engagement in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center Opera House for December 12, 2018-January 13, 2019.

The lack of permanence that allows new artists endless chances to bring their own interpretations to classic material is the most significant aspect that separates live theatre from movies and television. But in musical theatre, it's sometimes the case that a director/choreographer such as Jerome Robbins or Bob Fosse may create visuals that become so indelible in the public's mind that they become fixtures of most remountings. Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce that a digital lottery will begin Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 9AM for the National Tour of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON. MISS SAIGON will play Broadway In Chicago's historic Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for a limited engagement November 14 through December 8, 2018.

New York City Center today announced casting for the Annual Gala. The 75th Anniversary gala presentation will feature A Chorus Line.

A CHORUS LINE, the hit musical about dancers auditioning for a Broadway show played for 6,137 performances in its original run and, depending on who you ask, there are numerous reasons for that. First, and foremost, audiences connected with the people on stage and their experiences. They saw their own wishes and dreams played out through the diverse and talented group of people assembled. The second reason is because it offers a unique variety of energetic musical numbers (with some amazing dancing, naturally) interspersed with dramatic monologues that get at the heart of the human condition. And third, and probably most importantly - it is simply a wildly entertaining musical. I am pleased to say that all of these elements (and more!) are present in the current production of A CHORUS LINE at the Ivoryton Playhouse in Ivoryton, CT.

In Providence, MISS SAIGON is part of the Taco/White Family Foundation Broadway Series.
